Synth1 — Playing with hex color codes

After staring at Ichiro Toda’s Synth1 factory skin for over two years, I thought I’d change it up a bit. I’ve found that the look and feel of whatever instrument you’re using has a lot to do with the sounds you create with it. If it hurts to look at, then you’ll probably be more focused on your migraine than the sound you’re working on. So, here are a couple of code combos I threw together…

Here’s the first one: #414162 x #a7a7b4 — a nice muted lavender theme…

Synth1 414162 x a7a7b4

This next one isn’t so easy on the eyes. I just thought it would be fun to make a cyan & grey skin ala Twisted Tools. The codes are #323232 x #00d2b9 …

Synth1 323232 x 00d2b9

Also, I like the look of Dune2 by Synapse Audio, so … #48587b x #9aa3b8 …
